		<description>I have to admit that after reading your article the only thing that stands out is the obvious error in stating the year 1905 for "Birth of a Nation".  It's either a typo, another film with the same title, or a lack of knowledge of the correct date.  Since you are a historian on film, I urge you to be more accurate on such details.  Your article may be quoted in the future and that error will be passed on.  Regardless, your article does point out the lack of editing and story telling in the early years of film making.  But isn't the knowledge of its power true of any industry that is based on a new technology.</description>
